ACQUISITION: RAINFOREST RESERVE

Category

Nearing the finish line of a $10M conservation campaign

During 2020, we made great strides toward the acquisition of the proposed Rainforest Reserve, which encompasses 3,500 acres of temperate rainforest adjacent to Oswald West State Park and Cape Falcon Marine Reserve. In June, we were awarded a roughly $2.1 million grant from the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) for the acquisition. Throughout the year, numerous individuals and organizations contributed to our fundraising goals in small, meaningful ways. Now, we are in the final stretch of this five-year campaign that will make a difference for generations to come. MORE
